The Adaptiqs
technology uses artificial intelligence to "predict" how someone will
likely respond, given information that has been collected in the past.
To illustrate, we have created a demo that tries to guess your job.
This demo is one piece of ACORN, a full-featured career counseling tool
used to identify potential career paths for people seeking work. ACORN
has a database of over 438 questions used to identify the important duties
and responsibilities.
From your responses to these questions, ACORN will attempt to select your
job from a list of over 1100 possible occupations. What's more, ACORN
will not ask the full 438 questions, or even close to that amount. In
fact, ACORN will make an educated guess using less than 1/10 of the questions,
and often within 20 questions or less.*
